Saudi National Bank (SNB) announced that its Board of Directors has approved the distribution of SAR 6.9 billion in cash dividends to shareholders for the first half of 2026, reinforcing the bank's commitment to delivering consistent shareholder returns.

According to a filing published on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul), shareholders will receive SAR 1.15 per share, net of Zakat, representing 11.5% of the share's par value. The distribution covers 6 billion eligible shares.

Eligibility and Payment Dates

The dividend entitlement date has been set for July 28, 2026, for shareholders who own SNB shares at the close of trading on that day and are registered in the company's shareholder register maintained by the Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa) at the end of the second trading day following the eligibility date.

The bank said the cash dividend payment will begin on August 10, 2026.

Regulatory Approval

SNB confirmed that it has received the Saudi Central Bank's (SAMA) non-objection to proceed with the cash dividend distribution for the first half of 2026, in line with the Kingdom's banking regulations.

Withholding Tax for Foreign Investors

The bank also noted that non-resident foreign investors will be subject to a 5% withholding tax on cash dividends in accordance with Article 68 of the Saudi Income Tax Law and Article 63 of its Executive Regulations.
