ElevenLabs, a startup specializing in voice artificial intelligence, has reached a valuation of around $11 billion after raising $500 million in a new funding round. This more than triples its valuation from a year earlier, signaling continued robust investor interest in advanced AI applications.

The round was led by Sequoia Capital, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, Iconiq, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Evantic Capital, and tech investment firm BOND. Sequoia partner Andrew Reed will join the company's board of directors. Additional investors may be announced in the future.

According to the company, the funds will be directed toward expanding its technical capabilities, particularly developing a platform that enables enterprise customers to use voice agents for customer service, training, and sales. ElevenLabs also aims to expand into over a dozen cities across the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Europe, with enterprise solutions seen as the main growth driver.

Recently, ElevenLabs has formed partnerships with leading organizations, including Deutsche Telekom, Deliveroo, Revolut, and has entered into an official collaboration with the Ukrainian government, reflecting growing institutional reliance on high-fidelity synthetic voice technologies.

Earlier in 2025, the company raised funding at a $3.3 billion valuation, then allowed employees to sell secondary shares at a $6.6 billion valuation, paving the way for the current surge in market value.

Founded by Mati Staniszewski and Piotr Dabkowski, a former Google engineer, ElevenLabs aims to develop technologies capable of producing realistic voices for use in film, audiobooks, and digital education. Although early voice cloning technologies faced criticism over misuse and audio forgery, the company has since strengthened its monitoring policies.

EcoPulse24 Analysis
The leap in ElevenLabs' valuation reflects ongoing capital inflows into applied AI companies, especially those with clear enterprise use cases. Despite concerns about overvaluation in some AI sectors, investors appear confident that interactive voice technologies will become an essential part of corporate operations in the coming years, positioning ElevenLabs as a frontrunner in this rapidly evolving market.
