Top gainers included ALTIJARIA (+2.36%), ALFTAQA (+1.72%), STC (+0.73%), HUMANSOFT (+0.65%), and ZAIN (+0.59%). On the downside, MKHZN (-2.04%), KIB (-1.47%), JAZEERA (-1.10%), GBK (-0.84%), and SHIP (-0.70%) were the biggest losers. ALTIJARIA was the most actively traded both by value (KWD 13.53 million) and volume (over 63 million shares).
Market sentiment was selective, as liquidity concentrated on specific stocks, particularly ALTIJARIA. The session coincided with a drop in Kuwait crude oil prices to $57.03 per barrel, down 3.45%, a factor that often influences market sentiment in the region.
