Qiddiya City is preparing to officially open the Six Flags Qiddiya theme park on December 31, 2025, as the first asset to be launched in the ambitious project. This step marks the operational debut of one of Saudi Vision 2030's flagship initiatives in the entertainment and tourism sectors.

Abdullah Al Dawood, Managing Director of Qiddiya Investment Company, confirmed the completion of all works on Six Flags Qiddiya, with over 95% of construction on the Aquarabia water park also finalized. The opening will kick off a series of consecutive launches, eventually spanning more than 70 entertainment, sports, and cultural assets within the city.

Six Flags Qiddiya will be the first Six Flags park outside North America and the largest theme park in the Middle East, featuring 28 rides and experiences, five of which will set new global records. Highlight attractions include “Falcon’s Flight,” the world's longest, tallest, and fastest roller coaster, as well as record-breaking rides like Rattler and Spitfire, alongside 18 family and children’s experiences.

Coinciding with the opening, stc Group announced a strategic partnership with Qiddiya City as the 'Speed Partner' for Six Flags. stc will provide telecommunications services, develop smart city solutions, and build an integrated digital infrastructure to international standards. stc customers will be able to purchase park tickets and redeem Qitaf loyalty points, with future plans to expand these benefits to other Qiddiya attractions, including digitally enhanced experiences like Falcon’s Flight.

Al Dawood stated that the park is expected to welcome about 10,000 visitors daily and exceed two million visitors in its first year. He also highlighted progress at the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium, preparation for hosting the World Cup, completion of the first phase of infrastructure (roads, electricity, telecom, emergency services), and the start of the second phase, which includes over 100 km of internal roads, 13 power stations, and expanded drinking water systems. Construction is also advancing on 20 hotels scheduled to open in the coming period.

Qiddiya is a flagship project directly supported by the Saudi leadership, aiming to transform the entertainment, sports, and tourism sectors while positioning the Kingdom as a global destination for major events and experiences.
