Sina'at Wins SAR 348.6 Million Contract for Algeria's 'Baladna' Strategic Project
Sina'at secures a SAR 348.6M contract for Algeria's 'Baladna' project, enhancing food security and operational scope.
Sina'at Company has announced the award of a new project for one of its fully-owned subsidiaries, Zamil Steel Structures (Egypt), as part of the preliminary package for the implementation of the 'Baladna' project in Algeria, which is among the major investment projects in the food security sector.
According to the company's announcement on the Saudi Stock Exchange, the project was awarded on December 18, 2025, to Elegancia Steel, based in Qatar, with a total value of SAR 348.655 million, excluding VAT.
Scope of Work
The contract includes the design, manufacturing, and supply of metal structures, as well as the execution of insulation panel cladding works for Baladna in Algeria, as part of the construction of a major facility for the production of powdered milk.
Strategic Food Security Project
The 'Baladna Algeria' project is considered one of the strategic projects in the food sector, aiming to support supply chains and enhance self-sufficiency, which adds operational and strategic importance to Sina'at and its subsidiaries in North African markets.
Financial and Operational Impact
This contract is expected to positively reflect on Sina'at's revenues and operations in the coming periods, given the size and value of the project, in addition to enhancing the group's external business portfolio, particularly in the field of metal structures and advanced construction solutions.
The company confirmed that there are no related parties involved in this award and stated that it will announce any subsequent material developments, especially after receiving the final signed version of the contract from all concerned parties.
