UAE Central Bank Launches First Electronic System for Blood Money Claims Settlement in Collaboration with Dubai Public Prosecution

The Central Bank of UAE , in partnership with the Dubai Public Prosecution, has announced the launch of the first innovative electronic system specifically designed for settling blood money claims.

This initiative is a significant step forward in promoting digital transformation and expediting settlement procedures, aligning with the country's objectives to reduce bureaucracy and improve government service quality.

The new electronic system relies on direct connectivity between the Dubai Public Prosecution and licensed insurance companies via the Central Bank's digital platform, enhancing the efficiency of blood money claim settlements and improving customer experiences while protecting consumers. Additionally, it streamlines operational performance in the insurance sector and law enforcement agencies.

A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Central Bank and the Dubai Public Prosecution to enhance collaboration and improve services related to blood money claims, attended by senior officials from both sides. The launch of this system reflects the Central Bank's commitment to developing financial services and accelerating digital transformation, thereby enhancing trust in the financial system and protecting consumer rights.
