On the final trading day of 2025, the Dubai Financial Market closed up 0.534% at 6,047.09 points, with trading values reaching AED 380.67 million and volumes at 130.31 million shares. Of the 51 stocks traded, 34 advanced, 12 declined, and 5 remained unchanged, with gains led by real estate, services, and telecom sectors. Leading stocks included Emaar Properties (+1.08%), Emaar Development (+1.68%), Dubai Islamic Bank (+0.54%), and DU (+2.51%), while Emirates NBD fell by 1.59%.
Top gainers in Dubai were NCC (+8.92%), NGI (+6.79%), AMAN (+5.94%), AMANAT (+4.03%), and SHUAA (+3.90%). The top losers included WATANIA (-2.14%), SALAM_BAH (-1.83%), Emirates NBD (-1.59%), CHAE (-1.43%), and UNIONCOOP (-1.32%).
Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange closed up 0.286% at 9,992.72 points, with 11,884 trades and 181.39 million shares exchanged. The market capitalization stood at AED 3.03 trillion across 90 listed securities. Key performers included IHC (-0.03%), ADNOC Gas (+2.01%), First Abu Dhabi Bank (+0.81%), Aldar Properties (+1.16%), and ADNOC Drilling (-0.19%).
Abu Dhabi's top gainers were TKFL (+15.00%), NBF (+7.37%), SUDATEL (+5.23%), NCTH (+3.83%), and BOS (+3.10%). The main decliners were EIC (-8.22%), TAQA (-3.44%), GCEM (-2.15%), ALPHADHABI (-2.06%), and ARAM (-1.61%).
ADNOC Gas led both trading value (AED 137.04 million) and volume (38.86 million shares). Other active stocks included IHC, ALPHADHABI, Aldar, and FAB.
The general market trend showed selective liquidity flowing into blue-chip stocks, especially in Abu Dhabi, indicating a preference for risk management over broad speculation. Despite downward pressure on some energy and investment names, the markets ended 2025 on a steady note.
