NVIDIA has expanded its Agent Toolkit by integrating NVIDIA Omniverse libraries, giving AI agents new capabilities to help software developers build, validate and prepare simulation-ready 3D environments for robotics, industrial automation and autonomous systems.
The announcement, made ahead of SIGGRAPH 2026, marks another step in NVIDIA's strategy to strengthen the software ecosystem underpinning physical AI, allowing developers to embed simulation capabilities directly into existing 3D applications instead of relying on standalone workflows.
Bringing Physical AI Into Existing Development Workflows
According to NVIDIA, the expanded toolkit enables AI agents to inspect 3D scenes, identify issues, validate digital assets and prepare simulation-ready environments using Omniverse libraries for sensor simulation, GPU-accelerated physics and asset validation.
The company said preparing digital environments for robots, factories and autonomous machines requires more than realistic graphics, as virtual assets must also include accurate physical properties, materials, labels and sensor characteristics before they can be used for training and testing.
Open-Source Libraries Available on GitHub
The new software components - including ovrtx, ovphysx and CAD-to-SimReady capabilities - are now openly available on GitHub, allowing developers and AI agents to automate workflows for scene inspection, physics testing and 3D asset preparation. NVIDIA also introduced a new blueprint for integrating Omniverse libraries into Blender, expanding support for one of the world's most widely used 3D creation platforms.

Startups including ForgeCAD, Lightwheel, Moonlake AI and Palatial are also adopting the libraries to automate simulation-ready asset creation.
The company also demonstrated a sample "SimReady" Blender workflow that showcases how developers can integrate AI-powered simulation capabilities into existing creative applications while keeping artists in control of the design process.
