Riyadh Cement announced the signing of a contract with Chengdu Design Research Institute to implement a project for the construction of an electrical network station valued at SAR 85 million. This is part of the Liquid Fuel Displacement Program, aimed at completing the electrical service delivery to the company's plant in Nasaj.

According to a disclosure issued to the Saudi financial market, the contract was signed on December 14, 2025, on a turnkey basis, with a one-year implementation period. The contractor has received the project site and has commenced actual work, with the advance payment made as per the agreed payment terms.

Operational and Environmental Impact

The project is expected to contribute to:

  • Improving energy consumption efficiency within the company's facilities,

  • Reducing emissions resulting from electricity generation,

  • Enhancing operational reliability and production stability from the operational date.

This project aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and aims to achieve the objectives of the Liquid Fuel Displacement Program overseen by the relevant authorities in the energy and industry sectors, thereby enhancing environmental sustainability and the efficiency of existing production lines.

The company confirmed that there are no related parties involved in the contract.
