$500 Million Investment to Launch Europe's First Industrial AI Cloud and Integrate NVIDIA Technologies into Xcelerator

Las Vegas – January 6, 2026

Siemens and NVIDIA today announced the expansion of their strategic partnership to accelerate the next era of industrial AI and digital transformation, enabling the "factory of the future" based on live digital twins and smart automation. The move brings together industrial software and AI leaders to reshape global manufacturing.

The announcement was made during a joint keynote by Siemens CEO Roland Busch and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. They showcased how the expanded partnership will fully integrate NVIDIA technologies into the Siemens Xcelerator platform and industrial automation systems. Huang noted, "Manufacturers face growing pressures to boost efficiency, enhance quality, and adapt quickly to changing market demands. Our partnership with Siemens brings NVIDIA's AI and accelerated computing to leading global companies."

The expanded partnership includes a $500 million investment to build the world’s first industrial AI cloud dedicated to European manufacturers, powered by NVIDIA RTX PRO Servers and NVIDIA DGX B200 systems, according to NVIDIA. This infrastructure will enable industrial companies to access vast computing power for running complex AI models without building their own data centers.

Key outcomes of the partnership include integrating NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs with Siemens' Simcenter Star-CCM+ computational fluid dynamics software, allowing engineers to virtually simulate and test products with high precision before actual production. The companies also introduced the Teamcenter Digital Reality Viewer, a major step in product lifecycle management that brings instant photorealistic visualization to the Teamcenter platform, enabling companies to interact with realistic digital twins and make faster, better-informed decisions.

The partnership began in 2022, when Siemens and NVIDIA announced collaboration to build the "industrial metaverse" by connecting Siemens Xcelerator to NVIDIA Omniverse for immersive, realistic digital twins. Since then, the collaboration has expanded to include generative AI, industrial AI, and robotics. HD Hyundai, one of the world’s largest shipbuilders, uses these technologies to visualize next-generation hydrogen- and ammonia-powered vessels, managing millions of components in real time and reducing design iteration times from days to hours using generative AI.

Busch affirmed, "AI is radically transforming manufacturing and infrastructure, and combining Siemens and NVIDIA technologies will empower industrial companies to leverage comprehensive, AI-powered solutions for next-generation manufacturing automation." During the keynote, leaders from Microsoft, PepsiCo, and Commonwealth Fusion Systems joined Busch and Huang to discuss how AI is reshaping the physical world and transforming manufacturing, infrastructure, and transportation, signaling that the next industrial revolution will be fully digital.
