Bloomberg | After 13 years of managing the largest cryptocurrency exchange platform in South Korea, Song Chi-hyeong and Kim Hyung-nyun have joined the ranks of the world's richest.

Last week, the duo agreed to sell their company to an unspecified financial technology arm in a complete share exchange deal.

Song will exit with 19% of the shares valued at $2.7 billion, while Kim will take 10% worth $1.4 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, which used a valuation of $13.6 billion for the combined entity as revealed in company documents.
