UAE investors remained the largest investor group in Sharjah's property market during the first half of 2026, accounting for 50.6% of the emirate's total real estate transaction value, according to a new statistical report released by the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department.
The report showed that Emirati investors committed AED 14.9 billion across 22,599 properties owned by 9,655 property owners, highlighting continued confidence in Sharjah's investment environment and the resilience of its real estate market.
Total real estate transaction value in the emirate reached AED 29.5 billion during the first six months of the year.
AED 14.9 Billion in Emirati Investments
According to the report, Emirati investors ranked as the largest investment group by nationality, supported by Sharjah's stable regulatory framework, sustainable urban development, and a pipeline of major real estate projects.
Their investments represented more than half of the emirate's total real estate trading value during the reporting period.
Growing Role of Emirati Women
The report provided a detailed breakdown of property ownership and transactions by gender.

Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, said the H1 2026 results demonstrate the success of the emirate's development strategy under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the continued follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Executive Council.
Al Shamsi said the report extends beyond investment volumes, revealing a broader and more diversified base of Emirati investors, with stronger participation from both young investors and women.
He added that these trends reflect growing investment awareness across society and reinforce Sharjah's position as a preferred destination for individuals and families seeking to build long-term wealth through real estate.
