Dollar Price in Egyptian Markets Today
The dollar price in Egypt remained stable today at 47.50 EGP for buying and 47.63 EGP for selling, with a notable growth of the Egyptian pound this year.
The dollar price against the Egyptian pound remained stable on Friday, December 5, recording approximately 47.50 EGP for buying and 47.63 EGP for selling at the Central Bank. At the National Bank of Egypt, it recorded 47.53 EGP for buying and 47.63 EGP for selling.
The Egyptian pound has seen significant growth this year, as the dollar price at the beginning of 2025 was around 50.90 EGP for selling and has gradually decreased to current levels. This decline is attributed to an increase in remittances from Egyptians working abroad, which reached approximately 30.2 billion USD in the first nine months of the year.
