Presight to develop AI-powered national smart platform for Montenegro

UAE-based artificial intelligence company Presight has signed a memorandum of understanding with Montenegro’s Ministry of Interior to develop a next-generation national smart platform powered by applied AI, marking a new expansion of Emirati sovereign digital infrastructure into European markets.

The agreement aims to build an integrated “Smart Nation” platform capable of unifying real-time data from traffic systems, public safety, emergency response and environmental monitoring into a centralized AI-enabled operational layer designed to improve coordination and national decision-making.

The announcement came during an official UAE visit by Montenegro Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, who toured Presight’s operations in Abu Dhabi and discussed digital transformation and smart-city initiatives across Montenegro.

Under the agreement, Presight will work with government entities through a phased framework including a nationwide feasibility study, structured data integration and system mapping, followed by the development of a full implementation roadmap.

The initiative will include intelligent traffic management systems, integrated emergency response coordination and national situational-awareness tools designed to enhance operational efficiency and public safety infrastructure.

Presight said the platform will rely on its sovereign AI architecture to transform fragmented datasets into coordinated real-time operational control systems capable of supporting faster and more informed government decisions.

The agreement also reflects the growing international expansion of UAE-backed AI infrastructure companies as Gulf technology ecosystems move beyond domestic deployment toward exporting sovereign digital systems and national-scale operational platforms.
